Help Center & FAQ

Everything you need to know about your YJLUUJL Wireless CarPlay Adapter. Setup guides, troubleshooting, and more.

Setup

How do I set up the wireless CarPlay adapter for the first time?

Start the vehicle, plug the adapter into the USB port used for wired CarPlay, and pair your iPhone with the adapter in Bluetooth settings. Accept the CarPlay prompts; Wi-Fi will connect automatically after Bluetooth pairing.

Warranty

What is covered under the warranty?

Coverage typically applies to manufacturing defects during the eligible policy term, subject to your regional conditions.

Connection

Why does the adapter not connect to my iPhone?

Confirm that wired CarPlay works, then restart the iPhone and vehicle, unplug the adapter for 30 seconds, and reconnect it. If it still fails, forget the adapter in both Bluetooth and CarPlay settings and pair it again.

Returns

How do I start a return?

Submit the order number, product serial, and reason for return through the support channel listed on the site.

Connection

Why does the adapter not reconnect automatically when I start the car?

Make sure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled, the adapter is saved on the iPhone, and no other paired phone connects first. Restart the phone and adapter, then remove and re-pair the adapter if automatic connection still fails.

Parts

Can I order spare parts directly?

That depends on the part category and region. Approved accessories may be available directly, while protected components require authorized service.

Display

What should I do if the CarPlay screen is black, frozen, or keeps loading?

Unplug the adapter for 30 seconds, restart the vehicle's infotainment system and iPhone, then reconnect it. If the issue continues, reset the adapter and install the latest stable firmware.

Repair

How long do repairs take?

Turnaround depends on inbound inspection, part availability, and shipping region, but the site can be configured with your standard expectation ranges.

Connection

Why does wireless CarPlay keep disconnecting while I drive?

Check that the adapter is firmly connected to the wired-CarPlay USB port, remove USB extensions or hubs, and keep the iPhone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. Re-pair the adapter and update its firmware if disconnects continue.

Audio & Calls

Why is the audio delayed, choppy, or out of sync?

Restart the adapter and iPhone, close unused apps, and remove nearby Wi-Fi hotspots that may cause interference. A small delay is normal for wireless CarPlay, but repeated stuttering should be addressed with a fresh pairing or firmware update.

Audio & Calls

Why can callers not hear me, or why does call audio come from the iPhone?

During a call, select CarPlay or the vehicle as the audio route and confirm that the microphone is not muted. Restart and re-pair the adapter, then verify that phone calls work correctly with wired CarPlay.

Controls

Why do Siri, the steering-wheel buttons, or the control knob not work?

Enable Siri and Allow CarPlay While Locked on the iPhone, then test the same controls with wired CarPlay. Restart and re-pair the adapter if the controls work when wired but not wirelessly.

Compatibility

Is my vehicle compatible with the wireless CarPlay adapter?

The adapter requires a vehicle or aftermarket head unit with working wired Apple CarPlay. It cannot add CarPlay to a vehicle that does not already support wired CarPlay, and it is not intended for wireless-CarPlay-only systems.

Connection

How do I switch the adapter between two or more iPhones?

Disconnect the current phone from the adapter screen, then select the other saved phone. If there is no selection screen, turn off Bluetooth on the current phone and connect from the other phone.

Connection

Why is Bluetooth connected but CarPlay does not appear on the screen?

Bluetooth only starts the handshake; wireless CarPlay also needs Wi-Fi. Keep both enabled, approve the CarPlay request on the iPhone, and make sure CarPlay is allowed while the phone is locked.

Maintenance

How do I update the wireless CarPlay adapter firmware?

Connect to the adapter, open its settings page using the address in the product guide, and check for updates. Keep the vehicle running and do not unplug the adapter until the update and restart are complete.

Maintenance

How do I reset the adapter and pair it again?

Open the adapter settings page and choose Reset or Restore Factory Settings. Then forget the adapter in the iPhone's Bluetooth settings, remove the vehicle from CarPlay settings, restart both systems, and pair again.
