Why does the adapter not connect to my iPhone?
Confirm that wired CarPlay works, then restart the iPhone and vehicle, unplug the adapter for 30 seconds, and reconnect it. If it still fails, forget the adapter in both Bluetooth and CarPlay settings and pair it again.
On the iPhone, remove the adapter under Settings > Bluetooth and remove the vehicle under Settings > General > CarPlay. Pair again only after the adapter has fully started.
Also disconnect other phones that may be trying to connect. If the adapter has no status light, test the other wired-CarPlay USB port or cable supplied with the adapter.
